The GLSC committee administers the club: performing fundraising, forming teams, managing club assets, and assisting team officials in resolving player, parent or other issues. The committee meets on the second Wednesday of every month at the Spike Bar (downstairs) at Gungahlin Lakes Community and Golf Club starting from 7:30pm.

This coming season, the club will be offering financial incentives for parents to participate in the running of the club through the commitee. Positions available this season include:
President: The chief role of the President is to support and assist the Committee in the running of the club. This includes taking the chair at all meetings of the Committee and leading the Committee in its general functions. This includes but is not limited to liaising with other clubs and associations and taking a proactive role in promoting softball throughout the Gungahlin community – ie applying for grants and responding to requests to assist with community activities.
Vice President: Act on behalf of the President and preside at meetings when the President is not available.
Secretary: Call for meetings of the Club Committee, develop agenda for each meeting (together with President), keep the minutes and distribute copies as appropriate, respond to correspondence at the direction of the committee, clear the mail box and assist the President and Treasurer as required.
Treasurer: Keep a true and proper record of the finances of the club and present a financial statement at each meeting on the committee. Receive monies payable to the club and ensure that they are banked promptly and accounted for, maintain receipt books and cheque books. Represent the club at Finance meetings.
Assistant Treasurer: Assist the Treasurer in the above duties, particularly in assistance with collection of player fees .
Registrar / Assistant Secretary: Take minutes of meetings in the absence of the Secretary. Responsible for the reconciliation of player registrations and liaising with Associations to ensure player registrations processed as required in a reasonable timeframe.
BBQ Coordinator: organise parents to manage NCSA BBQ duties at Kaleen and Magnet Mart fundraising BBQ.
Promotions Officer: Develop ”Around the Bases” monthly club newsletter, promotional flyers, welcome to parents letters etc.
Equipment Manager: Stocktake equipment owned by the club and maintain an asset register capturing all club assets. Purchase new equipment as directed by the committee.
Project and BBQ Officers (up to 6 positions): Assist with various projects as they arise. This can include but is not limited to arranging social activities for the club and sourcing and coordinating fundraising efforts.
Coaching Coordinator: Liaise with club coaches. Monitor and assist club Coaches, assisting with game etiquette, and training techniques/ drills
Teeball Coordinator: Liaise with team Managers associated with the club’s Teeball and Junior Teeball teams, as well as members associated with diamondball players. The Teeball Coordinator is essentially the link between the teams and the committee.
Softball Coordinator: As with the Teeball Coordinator, but responsible for Softball and Modball teams.
