About Our Club

Gungahlin Lakes Softball Club (GLSC) is a community-based organisation run by volunteers with a keen interest in promoting softball and participation in sport. GLSC draws the majority of its operating costs from player subscription fees, and supplements income through sponsorship and fundraising activities.

We are extremely grateful to our sponsors: Gungahlin Lakes Community and Golf Club and the Marketplace for their on-going support.

5th September 2009
Registration Day will be held on Saturday 5th September 2009 from 9am until 1pm at the Marketplace in Gungahlin, outside of Time Hair Design (to be confirmed). Online registrations for the coming season are available now.   Note:If your e-mail address has changed since the commencement of last season, please contact us to update your . For adults wishing to play softball, Gungahlin Angels enter teams in a number of divisions in the Men's and Women's leagues, a registration form for Angels is available here.

The school holidays are approaching very fast!!  If you are still looking for something fun and active for your kids to do, how about the Softball ACT holiday program?  Softball ACT, in conjunction with ACT Cricket, are holding a sports program for primary school children in the first week of the school holidays (28/9 – 2/10), from 9am – 3pm each day at the Hawker International Softball Centre for only $130.00 per child!! Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held at the Spike Bar at Gungahlin Lakes Community and Golf Club at 7:30pm.  We need volunteers to come forward to fill a number of positions to be vacated by retiring committee members.  Note there will also be a vote on a change of date for future Annual General Meetings which requires a change to the Club's Constitution so as many members as possible are needed to attend.
